Hi Everyone, My name is Zakkiyah Owner & Operator of Ziggy Inspired, LLC. My Love Story with hair started as a internship (18 years ago), but who knew it would lead me to my life’s calling. I wanted to learn the elements of hair textures and the process of styling which ultimately lead me to the burning desire to learn how to achieve and maintain healthy hair for women of all hair types.

My love for my hair care journey continued. God then blessed me with my handsome baby boy. He experienced hair loss while I also suffered from postpartum hair loss. This is what inspired Ziggy Inspired, LLC, to branch off into producing hair care products in 2021. When I found out I was pregnant, who knew it would be twins (just kidding 😊)! But really God had blessed my womb with a baby and a purpose. I had some clients that experienced hair loss due to medication, some experienced very bad dandruff and others needed a way to keep their hair moisturized. In February 2022, we launched with the creation of our first Ziggy Inspired product, the Restoration Oil. Now there is an entire line that includes a shampoo, conditioner and braid refresher.

2022 has blessed me with new opportunities to show case my business. I have done over 15 vending shows, created 105 items for performers and host for the SOUL TRAIN AWARDS 2022. When TICHINA ARNOLD had her beauty brunch in January 2023, she received 45 luxurious scarves. Ziggy Inspired team traveled to LA to be a part of GRAMMY WEEKEND 2023. What an experience that was.
